First Third Book - all the news........

Dear friends

We're very excited to announce that First Third Books will soon be publishing a rather beautiful Saint Etienne photobook. It will contain over 150 images of us, with lots of commentary (between the three of us, we can just about remember where all the pictures were taken). It will also contain a complete illustrated discography, and an eloquent foreword from our good friend Lawrence (Felt, Denim, Go-Kart Mozart).

The green linen cover is beautiful and the reproduction quality is exquisite - anyone who has seen a First Third book will know that they don't cut any corners.

The books will be individually numbered in an edition of 2,000, and will contain photos from rather famous photographers, as well as plenty of previously unseen images from our personal archives (ie Sarah's coal cellar), many taken by the redoutable Paul Kelly.

There will be a special edition of 300 copies with a different colored linen binding, signed by the three of us, which will also include a 7" vinyl single containing two unreleased recordings. That's 300 of the special edition with 7" and 1700 of the standard edition making 2000 in total.

Both versions of the book will be available to pre-order direct from First Third this Sunday 30th March at 6pm GMT. Please be quick as once these are sold there won't be any more. Finished books will ship in June.
