"I think we'd all been members of fan clubs, or appreciation societies, growing up, so we thought we should do our own newsletter once Foxbase Alpha came out and we had a bit of a following. (I was a member of ones for Madness, Dusty Springfield, the Monkees, the Beach Boys and Elvis. The Madness one was clearly done by them - lots of jokes about Rod Stewart, I remember).

We called it Clenbuterol as it happened to be a peculiar word in the news a lot prior to the 1992 Olympics - athletes kept testing positive for Clenbuterol. Try googling it now and it sounds like I'm making this up! I'm not sure how we filled it but we did. After a while, it was put together by our dear friends Andy Rossiter, and later by Andrew Walsh. The digital age did for it, but it was fun while it lasted."
