"Glasgow ABC was like a Spanish hotel in the seventies, half-built with bags of plaster and step-ladders everywhere. To add to the seventies effect, drummer John spotted that backstage smelt exactly like Spacehoppers. Annie played a couple of genius new songs (Kiss Me and Wedding, number ones in our hearts already) and we all got wallopingly drunk with Pete's Scottish family. Timo is fond of bearhugs. Pete had fun with the "Japanese" toilet complete with "lady" button." Bob Stanley
