Mistletoe And Wine
Fireworks Night and Halloween are out of the way, and it's not quite time to get the Charlie Brown Christmas Album out yet, but we plan ahead - it is time to start thinking about presents and parties.
We've got two Christmas Parties planned, one in Saltaire, Yorkshire (Dec 6th), and the other in Brighton, Sussex (Dec 14th), in two of our favourite, wonderfully atmospheric social clubs. We'll be playing records that were in Christmas Top 40s, but not necessarily Christmas records... cunning, eh? Also we'll do our now-traditional raffle, with St Et rarities and egg nog up for grabs... plus everyone will get a special "prize" just for coming. Both nights start at 7.00pm and finish at 11.30pm. Tickets are strictly limited to 130 for each party and go on sale this Friday at noon (UK time) here:

Brighton, Sussex - Friday December 14th - CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS
We have a couple of Fan Club vinyl editions coming out for Christmas too.
First up is our Asleep At The Wheels Of Steel collection, originally a fan club CD that came out in 2002. This includes the first soundtrack music we ever recorded, for an obscure Scottish film appropriately called Lost. Secondly there's Richard X's wonderful re-imagining of our debut album, Foxbase Beta. Both have been beautifully mastered by Guy Davie, with Paul Kelly artwork. If you saw our previous fan club vinyl editions, you'll know how well turned out they are. Feel the quality!
Both of these are limited editions of 1000 copies and come with inner sleeves and download cards. They will be available to pre-order from next Wednesday 21st November here and will ship from December 3rd in time for Christmas delivery.
Finally, if you fancy a copy of Bob's new book Sleevenotes, we will be offering copies of these via our webshop from Wednesday 21st November as the fan club vinyl albums go on sale. It's all about influences and inspirations behind Saint Etienne songs - including yarns about recording Good Humor in Malmo, selling eggs and cheese with Pete in Surrey Street market, and (of course) the power of pop music. It also includes some snazzy photos. Yours for a mere £7.99 and the first 200 copies sold via the shop will be signed by Bob.
It's all happening!
love Sarah, Bob and Pete xxx
