We have had word that the Bob Stanley talk at Rough Trade East last Thursday went well. Paul W was nice enough to share some thoughts on the night and a setlist.

With the lights down it was like we were an audience watching a live radio broadcast. In a way it felt like a dj interviewing a guest on the radio. Jonny Trunk was the interviewer and Bob seemed relaxed with him.The talk went in chronological date order with live songs illustrating the talk at regular intervals.

No questions were asked at the end of the talk. Not sure why, maybe most people knew him to some degree and would ask questions one to one afterwards. All in all the evening was above expectations. More of an audience with Bob Stanley, than a book talk.
