30 Years Ago Today
The first test pressings for Foxbase Alpha were made and the die was cast.
"It was so exciting to have actually made an album and to hold it and see the way the different tracks took up the spaces on each side and remind ourselves of the amusing messages we'd written in the run out grooves. Proud of what we'd made but not knowing what the future held."

"Being our first album, Foxbase Alpha was a scrapbook of our ideas and influences. UK psych, Detroit techno, northern soul, the Pet Shop Boys, the Beach Boys.
It was all recorded onto quarter inch tape, using an eight track mixing desk. That explains its DIY feel."
