Notes
"The Black Horse song was like an evening version of Mario's Cafe, but we abandoned it when we came up with the idea of mixing folk and electronics." (Bob Stanley 2010)
"This was recorded straight after So Tough when we had no definite idea of what we'd do next. It
sounds a fair bit like Flight To Tashkent from the So Tough sessions, which we also gave up on. The guitar line sounds like Deep Purple at the wrong speed. The lyrics refer to me and Pete's (long gone) local just off Holloway Road; Pete Paphides and Simon Price lived just round the corner; we'd go there and talk about football and pop music. It was London in the nineties." (Bob Stanley 2018)
"Celebrities name-checked in the track include comedian Steve Coogan, musicians Prince & Michael Jackson, journalists Simon Price, Pete Paphides & Taylor Parkes and footballer George Graham." (Adchelle)
