Notes
In December 2006, Bob Stanley identified that Saint Etienne had written a song titled Dome Of Discovery which had a subtle Johnny Dankworth influence running through it.

The Dome of Discovery was a temporary exhibition building designed by architect Ralph Tubbs for the Festival of Britain celebrations which took place on London's South Bank in 1951, alongside the River Thames. The consulting engineers were Freeman Fox & Partners, in particular Oleg Kerensky and Gilbert Roberts. Controversially, after the Festival closed, the dome was demolished and its materials sold as scrap. The site was cleared for reuse, and is now the location of the Jubilee Gardens, near the London Eye.

Note: Saint Etienne's film This Is Tomorrow centered around The Royal Festival hall which was also built as part of the Festival of Britain for London County Council, and was officially opened on 3 May 1951. Likely a linkage for why Dome Of Discovery was written around this same time.
