We found Dominion Tiles, a vast warehouse loaded with stock that dated back to the sixties, not because it was vintage and collectable but simply because it had been sat there for forty years and no one had bought it. (Bob Stanley 2012)

Dominion Mosaics & Tile Co was located at 44 Marshgate Lane. Like many businesses in Marshgate Lane, this company was affected by the compulsory purchases of properties by the London Development Agency to make way for the London 2012 Olympic Games in 2007.
