Sarah Cracknell

In 1987 Sarah Cracknell released the Love Is All You Need 7 Inch on the 3 Bears Records label. Mick wrote both tracks on the release and played guitar. Mick had known Sarah for a long time having been in Worried Parachutes, Prime Time, and Oblivion River with her. Please note we have never found any recorded product by these three outfits. Mick and Sarah also co-wrote Saint Etienne songs Marble Lions, Lullaby, and Sushi Rider

Around 1986/1987 Sarah was hanging out with Lawrence of Felt. There is a record of Sarah and Mick Bund's band Oblivion River opening for Felt back in August 1986. Mick Bund also soon joined Felt in the late eighties. Maurice Deebank co-wrote Saint Etienne's track Paper with Sarah and it appeared as a B-Side on the Avenue single in 1992

Metro Trinity

In 1987 Metro Trinity released the Die Young 12 Inch (4 songs) on the Cafeteria label and a track on a joint flexi with Inspiral Carpets on the Debris label.

Airstream released one album (Ricky Tick) and five singles back in 1991 and 1992 on the One Little Indian label. Siobhan Brookes, Saint Etienne backing vocalist in the early years provided some vocals on two of the tracks on the Ricky Tick album.

Mexico 70 released three albums and five singles between 1991 and 1995 on various labels including Big Pop, inertia, and Cherry Red. Sarah Cracknell provided vocals on the track Worthless. Johnny Male also helped out on the Worthless EP

Sensation

Sensation released an album (Burger Habit) and two singles back in 1993 on the One Little Indian label. Between 1993-1995, they recorded an album called Yesterday Things Got Worse which was thought to be lost until its rediscovery and released in 2000 on Firestation Tower Records. Siobhan Brookes, Saint Etienne backing vocalist in the early years provided some vocals on one of the tracks on the Burger Habit album.

It's almost like everyone in Sarah Cracknell's family tree wrote and produced the Crush album. The Japanese version called Teenage Kicks was released in 1996 and the US version called Crush was released in 1997.
