Worried Parachutes

Saint Etienne's Sarah Cracknell was lead singer of the Worried Parachutes which formed in September 1981 and broke up in 1983. Their manager was Sarah's mother Julie Cracknell. There were demos and talk of releasing material but to our understanding nothing was released. At one point the band was negotiating a record contract but refused the offer to wait for something that would give them more artistic control over their music and image. The band did do alot of giging around Windsor and in London at the time.
